Bitumen membrane sheet
JUAL recommends that a sheet of bitumen membrane is placed under roof outlets, soil ventilations or other "membrane-integrated" products during installation.
APPLICATIONS
When the steel flange of a roof outlet is fixed to the roof construction with proper fasteners the outlet's pre-installed bitumen membrane (500 x 500 mm) is torched to the loose bitumen sheet (600 x 600 mm) which is placed under the flange, as recommended in JUAL's installation instructions.
The roof outlet is now integrated in the roof surface in the strongest possible way without the possibility of moving - even when exposed to significant forces from temperature changes, the weight of a person etc.
